Release effective immediately. <br/> <br/>10/11/2023 - BOARD ORDER - License to practice as a respiratory care professional reprimanded, and subject to probationary terms, conditions, and limitations for at least one year, including completion of professional ethics courses. Based on the finding that when the respiratory care professional took a CPAP machine from his employer without permission and sold it for four hundred dollars ($400.00) to a client, those acts and/or omissions individually and/or collectively constitute: the commission of an act in the course of practice that constitutes a misdemeanor in this state, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the act was committed, to wit: theft. Order effective 10/25/23. <br/> <br/>06/8/2022 CITATION - Based on allegations that the respiratory care professional took a CPAP machine from his employer without permission and sold it for four hundred dollars ($400.00) to a client, which individually and/or collectively constitute: the commission of an act in the course of practice that constitutes a misdemeanor in this state, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the act was committed, to wit: theft; and the commission of an act involving moral turpitude that constitutes a misdemeanor in this state, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the act was committed, to wit: theft.
