Order effective 10/13/21 <br/> <br/>04/14/2021 CITATION - Based on allegations that when the doctor administered a substance he identified as an herb, but was in fact mifepristone, to a patient without her knowledge in an attempt to terminate her pregnancy, which resulted in the patient hemorrhaging and requiring emergency care, those acts as alleged, individually and/or collectively would constitute the selling, giving away, personally furnishing, prescribing, or administering drugs for other than legal and legitimate therapeutic purposes or a plea of guilty to, a judicial finding of guilt of, or a judicial finding of eligibility for intervention in lieu of conviction of, a violation of any federal or state law regulating the possession, distribution, or use of any drug; the commission of an act in the course of practice that constitutes a misdemeanor in this state, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the act was committed; and the commission of an act that constitutes a felony in this state, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the act was committed.
